Cost of Living Support

Cost of Living Liberal Democrats.jpg

We know that many local people across North East Lincolnshire will be hit by the cost of living crisis this winter.

From the impact of energy bills going up to the cost of the weekly shop, the awful pressures on people’s budgets are only continuing to grow.

In parliament, the Liberal Democrats have supported moves to freeze the energy price cap to prevent residents being hit with even higher bills. Locally in North East Lincolnshire Council, we have tabled a plan to provide further support for those suffering from food poverty, have provided free family fun activities and grown free, fresh food for the communities we represent. We have also voted against Council Tax increases.

The Grimsby and Cleethorpes Liberal Democrat team have now launched  this webpage with further details of organisations that can provide help, advice and information.

We hope you find it helpful.
